At first we thought Miss Dowsett meant sauce like ketchup but actually sources in history mean using books, the internet, artefacts and talking to other people to find out information.

We had a go at researching using books and the internet to find out about toys in the past. Did you know poor children in Victorian times used to make some of their toys themselves? We enjoyed having a look at some of the old toys and having a go at playing with them. Then we looked at a timeline of toys and it showed us how toys have changed from the past to the modern day. We are very lucky to have such brilliant toys to play with now!
