Spring Term (1) IN NURSERY
Our topic this term is Spring Colours. We will be looking at shapes and colours for the first half term and looking for signs of Spring and the changes of the seasons – including the colours of the season - in the second half.
The children have made a start by using shapes to make collages of Elmer, using the numicon shapes to make patterns, as well as making bubble pictures using their favourite colours on a shape of their choice – look out for the display of their work in our class.
We will also be using the book Elmer by David McKee – which is a story that helps us focus on colours as well as understanding that uniqueness should be embraced.
We would like to extend a warm welcome to all our new starters this term. They have all settled very well.
Please continue to send the children in suitable clothing for the weather as we will endeavour to go outside everyday.
