The event was organised by the children once they had talked to Mrs Whitehead.  They designed and made posters which were put up around the school.

The parents and children made lots of lovely, yummy cakes and biscuits - 500 in total.

Everyone in school was invited to come and buy cakes or second hand books.  The children in 4J and their mums displayed the cakes and did the selling in the hall and they raised £ 300.80 for the charity Children in Need.  see some of our photos here
