DRUMS AND BREAD IN YEAR 3
This term 3H have had an amazing term learning how to play the Djembe drums.
They learnt about where they come from, what they are made of and lots of different rhythms. The children have had such fun learning from Mr Garraway and were amazing performing to their adults earlier in the week. The children will be very jealous when it’s 3S’ turn after Christmas.
The children in both classes also had great fun making bread. They have learnt about the history of Warburton, tasted a selection of breads before designing their own bread roll. Children had to think how they would shape their bread and what flavours they would combine in their final piece. It was lovely to see such a variety of shapes and flavours.
