LEAF RUBBING, UNSUNG HEROES AND HAMPTON COURT

A HUGE number of things have happened since our last blog – we have enjoyed outdoor learning where we created rubbing over leaves and twigs to make a nature picture

We have undertaken class assembly performances from both classes and in which they all did brilliantly! Unsung heroes were the theme for 5L’s assembly and the future was the theme for 5D’s.

We have held a series of SRE lessons to explore the important issue of puberty and how that could impact their lives in the future.  Once the giggles were done with, the girls and boys (in separate classes) had frank and open discussions about their ticking biological clocks.

Finally, we all visited Hampton Court and had a great time exploring this ancestral Tudor palace.  Highlights were the kitchens with its roaring fire, the grand hall (that reminded everyone of Hogwarts) and the chapel where a royal crown was displayed.
