HAVING FUN LEARNING OUTDOORS IN YEAR 2
This term, Year 2 had a great time during outdoor learning.
Children love to play and learn outdoors and it is lovely to see their creativity and imagination thrive in this aspect of learning. With Christmas around the corner, the children completed a craft making activity with Mrs Griffin.
The first activity children completed was leaf rubbing. This a fantastic technique that is great to do during autumn term where there are leaves everywhere! Children selected some leaves of different shapes and sizes and completed a rubbing technique using pastels. In the end, they created a colourful masterpiece. The second activity was mini Christmas ornaments which the children decorated with Mrs Griffin.
Lastly, the children all enjoy and have so much fun during free play! This is where they love to play together. In the mud kitchen, children love to make all sorts of dishes and drinks and serve their friends or teachers! Jumping into the mud pool is a popular activity as children love to get all muddy! We are already looking forward to our next session!!!
