a great start to year 3
Ready to learn week was full of fun and frolics. Children looked at their heritage, completed task master challenges and created yummy cheesecakes.
We have had a super start to Year 3 and are getting our teeth stuck into adding using the expanded column method.
The children have enjoyed writing a diary entry and a recount about our class book – Stone Age Boy. This links to our history topic this term of Stone Age, Bronze and Iron Age.
Outdoor P.E has included focussing on throwing and catching techniques ready to learn how to play a game of rounders.
We are looking forward to the start of swimming next week and our upcoming outdoor learning sessions.
