We had to hold a rhythm and create a beat. We used our hands and we learnt that children are your fingers, parents are the thumbs and together they make a family. You always start with your strongest hand (which is the hand you write with) and then you use your weaker hand. The drums are made out of wood, string and animal skin. There is a hole at the bottom so the noise echoes and is loud. The children really enjoyed it and some feedback was that they enjoyed it because it was fun, it was loud, it was a treat and they got to meet a new person.
