Amazing Africa
What a fantastic end to our Amazing Africa topic, last term.
Let us reflect on the successes of last term! We had a visit from Safari Stu (make sure you look at the pictures from our previous gallery)
Our time in Bromham woods was really enjoyable. Some of our adult helpers had a first-hand experience of the woods so a huge THANK YOU to all the helpers from the year 1 staff!.
We had a wonderful trip to Woburn Safari Park where we had cheeky monkeys on top of the bus (don’t worry parents, the children were all well behaved so none of our children were up there)
As a whole year group, we would like to say a massive thank you to Naomi Rouse for coming in to talk to Key Stage 1 about her experience in Tanzania. We all thoroughly enjoyed listening and attempting to walk with a basket on our heads. What a fantastic finish to our topic, giving the children a real life encounter of African culture! Please view the pictures here.
We are now ‘launching’ into our new topic of rocking, rolling and riding where the children have already planned and built their own rockets. (Pictures will be up shortly) Check our gallery for pictures of some of the events mentioned in our blog!
